“nor as being Lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock;”

‭‭I Peter‬ ‭5:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Everyone that comes under our influence, in our work place, in ministry or in our own home is entrusted by God to us.

If we have younger siblings or in a church as leaders, it is God who entrusted us to be responsible over them and not abuse or use them for our own gain.

If we are at work and managing our staff, even though they are not a believer, it is still our responsibility to care, nurture and be an example to them.

It is God who entrusted them to us, therefore, we are all ultimately responsible to God and not to a man.

If we serve one another and conscious of God, then we would not serve out of our feelings but as a worship unto our God.

We know that God knows the intent of our hearts and the motives behind what we do.

If we are conscious of God in knowing that He is watching over us, then we will be very mindful of everything before we do or say.

We are to be an example of a person who knows their God and the one who walks with Him. Ready to serve at His command by serving all that the Lord has put in our path.

When God puts people under our influence, it means that He has equiped us with everything that is needed to handle those whom God has sent.

No matter how hard it may look like to manage them, God had already deposited the resources in us or to us.

The only way to see the strength and find those resources is by looking at God and His kingdom.

Let us be example that reflects the image of Jesus and His love to everyone.
