Isaiah‬ ‭61:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭61:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Even in the old covenant, people still have God’s promises that He will turn their mourning into joy and praise in times of heaviness.

God has made His promise to lift them up when they face their enemies and be their Lord.

How much more blessed we who are in Christ not only have the promises of God but also become the dwelling place for His Holy Spirit.

We have received God’s promises and become partakers of the Divine nature.

We are no longer just a human or just a man. One third of us is filled with God the Holy Spirit.

We have been made one in the spirit with God and need to train our soul and body to reflect our God-given nature in Christ.

As a new creation, there is nothing that can bring us down, there is nothing that can defeat us because our battles have been won by Jesus.

All we have to do is to hold our ground and stand strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Every ashes and things in our life that look like a dead end, no hope and without any resources will become a place of miracle.

God will take us from those places of ashes and will bring about something that we can all say it is absolutely God.

If we can fix our eyes on Jesus and do not give in to the things of the enemy, do not lose heart and continue to journey then we will have the manifestation of God’s glory and power.

God is waiting for us to hold on to Him, speak His word and follow His ways. Even though things may seem like not moving, He is moving towards manifesting His promises in our lives.

Let us keep holding on, keep pressing on and keep believing till we see the manifestation of His glory in our lives.
