Romans‬ ‭5:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.”

Do we really understand what Jesus has done for us? Do we really know whose sin nature that was crucified on that cross through Christ?

We may say yes I know, but do we live life as freed men and women of God?

Paul is explaining that Jesus Christ Son of the living God took our place, paid for our sins by His pure unblemished blood, overcame every temptation of pride, lust of the eyes and the flesh is for our sake.

We are not going to be reconciled, in Christ we have received reconciliation. We have been reconciled with God as His own children.

Most believers still live life trying to reconcile themselves before God. We cannot reconcile ourselves to God because of our sin nature.

That sin nature cannot be taken away by a sin-natured person. A dead man cannot help the dead. Only someone who is alive can help raise the dead.

This is the reason Jesus has to die for our sake as He is the living God. He is the only one who can take away that sin nature from us and He did it.

We pray like we have not been reconciled, we live like we are not reconciled and we talk like we are not reconciled and wonder why we don’t see any solid reconciliation life flowing out of us.

If we as a believer still see ourselves as someone who needs to be reconciled, we have missed what Jesus did for us on that cross.

We cannot live a reconciled life without believing that we have been reconciled with God through Jesus and there is no more barrier between God and us.

Our mind needs to be renewed, our words need to be adjusted and our way of life needs to be lived in God’s truth which is revealed in Christ Jesus.

Let us live life conscious about the perfect sacrifice Jesus has made so that we can live in perfect harmony with our loving Father in heaven.
