‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭5:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”

‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭5:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Paul continues to share about being under pressure, persecuted and perplexed yet not destroyed by the grace of God.

Here Paul shared about this earthly tent that he lives in does not matter compared to the heavenly tent that God had prepared for him.

Paul took courage every time he was persecuted.

He sees his heavenly home ready to welcome him which is far more glorious than the earthly tent.

Paul is ready to give up his earthly tent, ready for it to be destroyed, by preaching the gospel of the kingdom.

Paul counted all earthly things to have no value in the face of eternity and the things God had prepared for him.

We too can take courage and keep our eyes on our final destination in God.

No matter how hard and difficult things might be in our lives, we can always hope and believe in God that all will be well with our souls.

For every trial that we go through, at the end of it is a reward that will empower us with greater knowledge and wisdom.

Over every mountain that we persist to climb is a sight that no one in the valley can see.

For every hardship we go through in life, there will always be the greater good that will come out of it.

Therefore, it is all worth pressing forward through every storm of life because God’s reward awaits us at the end.

If we can fix our eyes on the prize, our struggles become meaningful and every pressure becomes a building factor to accomplish our purpose in God.

Blessings
