Isaiah‬ ‭58:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“If you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, And your darkness shall be as the noonday.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭58:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The word of God in Isaiah speaks of extending care and meeting people at the soul level and not just their needs.

The main focus is not just meeting their needs but caring for their souls, that they be touched by our love and not just by our handouts.

When a soul is satisfied by the touch of God, it blesses their life and brings healing to their soul. It builds their moral value and strengthens their mind.

The Bible tells us that our light shall dawn in darkness and our darkness shall be as the noonday.

Whatever we sow, we will also reap the blessings. When we shine light into other souls, the light will begin to shine in every area of our own lives.

When we go all out to brighten someone’s life, God will make sure our lives are brightened by His light and glory.

It is more blessed to give than to receive because when God gives us back, it will be many times greater than what we have done.

When the hungry, and the afflicted are blessed by our love and care, we will become God’s agents of healing.

Whenever a need arises, it is an opportunity to bless a soul and an opportunity to bring light to that soul which will in return spark the life of God in our own life.

We should count it a privilege to love someone and bless someone with all of our hearts.

Every time we extend our hearts to the afflicted and the hungry, we are extending our hearts to the Lord.

Every time we close our hearts to those who are afflicted and hungry, we miss the opportunity to bless the Lord and to love Him deeper.

Let us take every opportunity to bring God’s light as we love and care for those who are in need.

Blessings
