Colossians‬ ‭2:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,”

Paul warned believers not to be cheated by false humility, false witness, worshipping and ritualising things that are not of God.

By participating with things that are not of the truth according to the word of God is allowing ourselves to be robbed by satan of the blessings that God had prepared for us.

The enemy will do everything possible to entice believers to be side- tracked, to be misled by a belief system that seems to portray humility, desiring spiritual insight and a lifestyle that is not according to the truth.

Paul said that we are being cheated if someone is introducing something that is not of God.

We must not sell the blessings that we have received in Christ which are far greater than the bait satan put out there.

Every time we overcome satan and his cunning tricks, we will receive our rewards of enjoying the blessings that God has put in our lives.

If we are drawn by our personal desires that crave to fulfil fleshly passion, then we will be losing our blessings and are being vulnerable to be cheated.

Nothing good is going to come out of our carnal desires and no bad thing is going to come out of God and His kingdom.

Therefore, let us be drawn to God and His word, submitting members of our bodies to follow God and enjoy His supernatural blessings in every area of our lives.
