‭‭I Samuel‬ ‭18:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And Saul cast the spear, for he said, “I will pin David to the wall!” But David escaped his presence twice.

‭‭I Samuel‬ ‭18:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Saul was jealous and felt insecure of his position as a king while David was faithful to serve Saul as his king.

Saul attempted to kill David and twice David escaped right in Saul’s presence.

This shows that David was humble, faithful and secure in himself. He was attacked by his own king twice as he served his king.

This is a remarkable characteristic that David displayed to serve under whomever God has placed in his life.

David’s confident is in the Lord, David’s shelter is in the Lord and David did not waver from being what God had made him to be.

David knew the Lord, as he is a man known by all as a man after God’s heart and a man God has anointed as king.

Anointed yet David’s life was threatened by his own king and David had to run for his life and stay away from the place he was meant to be a king.

Most of the time God’s anointed faces trials and tribulations. They face challenges and accusations because the enemy will try to stop it.

Yes we may feel isolated, rejected as an outcast and betrayed but GOD IS FAITHFUL.

When God anointed us to be His children, we will escape every arrow the enemy will throw at us.

We might be caught right in their presence yet God will make a way for us to be free from that position and fulfil the purpose God had ordained.

The important thing is to stay humble, keep serving and be faithful in doing what is before us one day at the time.

We have to be secure in God and not in our position, our looks or our connections.

All will fail except God and His word. If we stay true to God and His word, we will see the way, the truth and live life that God has prepared for us.

Don’t be shocked by the arrows that come our way but be encouraged that the one who have called us is THE FAITHFUL ONE who will also complete it as we stay in Him.

Blessings
