“Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,”

‭‭I Peter‬ ‭2:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus is known as a living hope, the living word and here in this passage, a living stone.

He is the living stone, He builds the church that the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

We are His church, we are unshakable in Him and in His power.

Jesus is taking our eyes off the natural church buildings, organisations, denominations and draws our attention to the supernatural structure that we are in Him.

We need to know who we are coming to. Who He is and what He has done for us.

If we see Jesus as one who has won the victor’s crown, do we approach Him as one who is victorious?

Do we have the confidence to trust and rest in Him as the Almighty God or do we still worry just in case it does not happen?

Out stand with God may differ from the ways of man. The way we believe is different from how the world works.

We may be rejected by many because they don’t understand the supernatural kingdom of God.

But standing in Christ and living in the ways of the supernatural kingdom is the most precious way to live.

When we live in the unshakeable power of God, we ourselves become unshakeable.

Therefore, we become the living church of Jesus Christ and spread the good news to the world.

As Jesus is, so are we today. We have received a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Therefore, let us live a life filled with hope, His promises and power.
