Luke‬ ‭11:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭11:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus did not come to establish a religious institution that has a form of godliness but without power

Jesus came to unite us to our Creator, our Heavenly Father, and to be reinstated as His children.

The first thing Jesus did when He taught His disciples to pray is to place them in their right identity, the right position with rightful inheritance.

This prayer is not for repetition, to pray each time without understanding of its meaning

Instead, this prayer that Jesus gave is a blueprint of our identity, destiny, and our eternity.

In the first part of the prayer, Jesus revealed to each one of us that we are God’s children, born of a heavenly kingdom with a purpose.

Praying prayers without knowing the meaning and without doing it will become a ritual and it will form a religion instead of a relationship.

We can become spiritually religious and we can become stagnant without power if we don’t understand and don’t live by the truth.

Jesus brings us into a relationship with our Heavenly Father. This validates that each one of us is created by God and we are His children.

Jesus came to make a way to come back to the Father as sons of the kingdom. We are not just another ordinary people.

We have been raised by Christ Jesus from darkness into His marvelous light. We are not of this world but citizens of the kingdom of God.

This is our identity, this is our inheritance and God is the Father of us all. When we understand this truth that Jesus is teaching us and live by it, then we will see the manifestation of heaven on earth.

Through this prayer, we can see that we all have the assignment to establish the kingdom of God here on earth.

Through this prayer, we can see how our Father entrusted us to represent Him in this world.

Let us take our place as His children, know our inheritance and establish His kingdom wherever we go in Jesus Name.

Blessings
