“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus is speaking to us today as He spoke before all His disciples.

We are not to be distracted by looking at the wrong things, being filled with fear, and praying with the wrong focus.

The first thing, we are not to be troubled by the things that are happening around us or around the world.

We must not be filled with fear but with confidence, ready to act when God tells us to do something in the midst of the chaos.

Trouble is bad for the unbeliever but an opportunity for the believers to show forth God’s power and glory.

We need to fix our eyes on Christ and bring Him out into our situations.

If we do the first thing right then we will not be filled with fear but with faith that brings glory to our God.

Jesus said that these wars and rumours of wars must come to pass.

How many of us are praying for all these things to stop instead of hearing God for what He wants us to do in that storm?

God’s word says that His glory shall fill the earth as the water covers the sea.

If we keep praying for things to stop instead of looking unto Jesus and what He wants us to do, will we see God’s glory on the earth?

We are an ambassador of God and we are His power here on earth.

We are not called to run away but to run to situations' needs and call those things that are not as though they are.

Let us be filled with confidence, faith, and hope to face everything by the power of Christ that is in us.

Blessings

Ps Ambrose
