Genesis 3:6 NKJV
So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
Genesis 3:6 NKJV
The history of the fallen world started when mankind wanted to attain wisdom and knowledge other than God.
There are many information that help to fix things temporarily that may be more appealing to people than growing into maturity to become the solution.
The problem with a quick fix is when the storm hits us, we will be left with devastation that can result in losing life.
Every word of God is a seed to be planted in us, to grow and produce more fruits in and through our lives.
When we begin to seek after other things, other books and opinions of people more than the word of the living God, we are opening ourselves to danger.
It is great to hear other people and learn from others but if it is against God's word, we must not entertain it nor apply it in our lives.
Every book that is in line with the word of God can be a great tool in our hands. But since we have the pure undefiled word of God and the Holy Spirit who is willing to teach us, why settle for less when we can have the best.
The fall came because man chose other words, other instructions and other views over the word, instructions and ways of God.
Whose word are we believing today? Through whose views are we seeing today and whose way are we following today?
These are important questions we need to ask ourselves so that we can navigate from where we are to where God wants us to be.
