I Corinthians 13:6 NKJV

does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;

I Corinthians 13:6 NKJV

As unusual as it sounds, yet people do rejoice in iniquities. Iniquities here is not about the actions but it is about the character that produces the attributes of satan.

Any time we take joy in someone getting hurt, misled or punished, we are enjoying iniquities or enjoying the works of the devil.

True love which we have received in Christ will not tolerate iniquities but focuses on delighting in the truth of God's word.

If we find ourself in self-pity, self-contained and

self- conscious more than God- conscious, kingdom oriented and faith focused life, we are going to end up enjoying iniquities.

The truth is God has given His life to ALL. It means to all whom we like and those we don't like. Those we approve or disapprove. Therefore, we must function under God's grace, love and truth for all.

We are called to rejoice in the truth. Which means to take joy in celebrating our identity in Christ, celebrating God's love and His peace above every trial and tribulations that come our way.

Rejoicing in truth will open our eyes to the greatness of God, which will affect our view, our choices and our judgement in life.

Fixing our eyes on Jesus and all that He has done will spark the joy in each one of us.

Let us take hold of the truth of God's word and be filled from the inside, the springing forth of God's Spirit in our lives.

Blessings
