Matthew 11:15 NKJV

He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Matthew 11:15 NKJV

Hearing God and His word means acting on it and putting it into practice. If we have heard God's direction for our lives then doing it means we have heard God.

We often brush off God's instructions and His voice because we simply don't want to do it. We just want to tune in to what we want to hear.

God desires to speak to us all the time but it is our heart that is geared to what we want to hear and that will disturb our hearing and confuse our directions.

To hear clearly the voice of God is not just about being in a quiet place or silencing our minds but coming before Him to hear His heartbeat.

Come before Him without any petitions, requests or wants. After all, all those things will be added to us anyway.

If we can tune in to God and live in Him as to how HE WANTS it to be then we will be certain of His voice and His directions.

We are designed to notice things when we are searching and seeking them. Every corner we look, we will spot things that look like a confirmation of what we want. That is not necessarily God speaking.

We know that God is consistent with His word.

We know that God confirms His word and His word reflects His image.

We know that God convicts us in our spirit and He makes a way for it to be fulfilled.

We are to seek God to know Him, love Him and to please Him. And in return, we will hear Him speaking to us all.

Blessings
