All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

All Scripture is God-breathed, given by divine inspiration and is *profitable* for *instruction*, for *conviction* [of sin], for *correction* [of error and restoration to obedience], for *training* in *righteousness* [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately—behaving honourably with personal integrity and moral courage]; AMP version.

The word of God clearly shows us whether it is for doctrine, reproof, correction or instructions, the Scriptures are to PROFIT the person being ministered to.

The Scriptures are not to be used to condemn someone, or to publicly bring shame to someone but to build and edify that person in the ways of the Lord.

Jesus died for us all not so that we would suffer and be punished in the world but to save us from it. Now Jesus left us His word and His Spirit to lead us and guide us to do the same.

If a scripture is used to condemn someone and judge them, then the scripture is not used to profit that person.

If the person refuses to receive the scripture to make them better, then they have made the choice to walk away from the blessings and abundance of God. The scripture is there to show us how to deal with people who refuse to be helped.

The scripture is God-breathed therefore every time we hear His word it brings life, restoration, health, corrections to our life towards His ways.

Every time we hear God's word in all these forms, it means God wants to bring a profit into our lives from glory to glory.
