Ephesians 1:9 NKJV
having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,
Ephesians 1:9 NKJV
The will of God should no longer be a mystery for a believer because it has been revealed to us through Christ our Lord.
We have the Holy Spirit and the word of God who was there before the foundation of the world. God's Spirit and His word reveal God's plans and His purpose.
The Bible clearly says "having made known the mysteries" which means it has been revealed to us.
If we look through the lenses that God has established for us, then we can see the revelations for our lives.
If we can't see it, perhaps we are looking through the lenses of our situations, our circumstances, our own understanding and our own wisdom.
The right lenses should be "Thank you Lord for revealing to me the mysteries of the Kingdom". The wrong lenses will be "Please, Lord, help me to see or understand the mysteries of the kingdom."
Even though the second prayer looks very humble and noble to pray but it is not what Jesus has established for us. The word of God says if we ask according to His will, we will have it. Out of the 2 prayers which are according to His will?
The first prayer is according to what Christ has established and the second one is praying to establish what Jesus has already established.
When we believe what Jesus HAS ALREADY ESTABLISHED for us then we will start seeing through the right lenses and behold the revelation of the kingdom of God.
Let us believe by faith in what Jesus has done for us and start seeing the glory that the Father has set before us all.
