I Corinthians 15:58 NKJV

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

I Corinthians 15:58 NKJV

In this chapter, Paul was speaking to the Corinthians about the resurrection, the final enemy which is death and how now in Christ we have the victory.

This new life we have in Christ has won the victory over death and had set us for eternity with our Creator.

Paul talked about the glorious life we have received through Christ and there is nothing more powerful than living in Jesus Christ our Lord.

In this, we have to stand steadfast. Steadfast here means to be firmly fixed, immovable, firm in belief, and it means to stay the same.

There are two persons, the first is God and His trust that will never change because He is the beginning and He is the end. The second is us who are changed according to His word.

So we need to be steadfast in Him and His truth that never changes and let Him and His truth change us for His glory and honour.

God is perfect and He does not need man's help but a man who is not perfect needs all the help to change and to be transformed into God's image and likeness.

This is what Paul is encouraging the believers to do. That after receiving all that is from God, to remain strong, immovable and steadfast in the amazing truths.

Let us be steadfast in Christ, for all He has done for us and never trade this precious blessing with anything of this world.

Blessings
