‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭19‬ ‭NKJV

“and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Paul the Apostle encouraged the saints to pray for all believers and humbly requested prayer for him to be an effective minister of the gospel.

Paul was not asking them to pray so that he will go and preach the gospel, as Paul is a fervent minister of the gospel.

Paul was asking them to pray for him so that he will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit to bring revelation to the people.

As believers, we are to pray for each other that we would be effective ministers of the gospel.

Usually, when believers get together, we often pray for our needs, our desires, and our longings.

What the early church did when they came together? They prayed so that they will go out boldly to proclaim the gospel.

In many ways, we have become self-centered in most of our prayers but God has provided all our needs.

We just thank God for all our needs and keep preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God.

We pray that we would be bold to share Jesus with the power so that the people may receive the revelation truth, that Jesus is Lord.

Our preaching, teaching, and sharing will be filled with the life-changing power when we are led by the Holy Spirit.

Let us pray that we will rise up in Christ, take up all that Jesus Christ has given to us, and display them through our life.

Blessings
