‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭21‬:‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

““He who follows righteousness and mercy finds life, righteousness, and honor.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭21‬:‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The righteousness of God is Jesus. Jesus is our righteousness and following Him means following righteousness.

Standing right with God means standing in the perfect work Jesus completed on the cross.

We become the righteousness of God because of what Jesus established in our spirit.

Our spirit has been redeemed through Christ our Lord. Therefore, living according to what we have become in Christ is life.

The life God promised to all who would believe in Jesus flows from the spirit man to change our soul and body.

We are to follow righteousness, follow all that Jesus has done for us and not follow our senses.

Every honour, promotion, and well-being comes from the Lord. Following what is in right standing with God will bring all good things to our lives.

The following righteousness also means to deny self and deny our own wants.

By denying self, we give righteousness an entrance to our mind and heart. This causes the life of God to be manifested in us daily.

Let us follow righteousness. Keep living the life of Christ, and display His glory in and through our lives.
