Obed son of Boaz, whose mother was Ruth the Moabite stood in the lineage not only for king David but the Messiah Jesus Christ.

Ruth who is a Moabite took part in this lineage not because she came from that lineage of believers or Jewish background but because she made a choice to follow the Almighty God.

She changed her lineage by following God. This shows that it does not matter how, where and from whose lineage we are born from.

What matters is whose lineage we are going to end up with. Everyone has a choice to change our ending and our lineage.

What we do and how we dedicate ourselves MATTERS. As believers today, we have been given a chance to change the lineage and the future of the next generation.

Don’t waste time complaining, murmuring, giving up and running away from our calling but MAKE THOSE CHANGES TODAY by following Jesus.

We have a choice to make our past a history and our future a new beginning that will grow from glory to glory.

This is our time to make those changes and live life that will be part of ushering in the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Start today, don’t sit back and do nothing about it. Don’t be an invisible believer of Christ that no one knows about our God.

But be the one that reflects Christ so loud in our everyday choices and change the cause of our lineage by faith.

Let us make those changes today and follow Jesus Christ our living God.
