Acts 22:8 NKJV
So I answered, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said to me, ‘I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting.’ Acts 22:8 NKJV
We usually feel that we are alone when we go through hardship and persecutions. The truth is, someone else has always been there and has taken all the arrows shot at us. That person is Jesus. When Saul was persecuting the church, he did not realise that whatever he did to the believers, he was doing it against Jesus. This is such a powerful revelation. The moment we receive Jesus, we become one with Christ. Anything that happens to us, Christ is in the midst of it. If we choose to believe in Christ and all that He has done, then we will withstand all the trials and tribulations that come our way. The assurance of knowledge of who we are in Christ and how united we are in Him gives us much confidence and hope unti the end. No matter what the results may be, we are always secured in Christ. Our picture may look like we have been nailed on the cross. In the natural, it looks like a defeat but our measurement of victory is beyond the cross, it is eternity. God will never leave us nor forsake us. Therefore, we can put our complete trust in Him. The greatest achievement is when our enemy comes to know Christ because we persevered. Let us continue in His love and in His grace for we are one in Christ Jesus. Blessing Ambrose Francis
