I Corinthians 2:6 NKJV

However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.

I Corinthians 2:6 NKJV

Paul is speaking about the wisdom among the mature. This wisdom rests on one person, that is Christ Jesus, our Lord. In Him, we have divine power and divine ability to do the impossible things. The wisdom of the world rest on the things of the world but the wisdom of God rest on God and in Him alone. Those who are mature in the Lord determine to put their hope and trust in God, in His promises and to be led by the Holy Spirit. Anyone who would trust God and His word is called mature in the Lord. Maturity in Christ is not about age. It is about how much we can put our trust in Him. Every wisdom of this world will come to nothing because heaven and earth will pass away but His word will remain. Therefore the wisest thing do is to put our trust in Christ Jesus. It is a mature thing to do, to put our trust in someone who will never fail. God has given to us the wisdom to live life here on earth. It is important to store up treasures that will last. Christ is our wisdom, Christ is our answer. Let us put our complete trust in Him and live life purposefully. Blessings Ambrose Francis
