Everything that we do with love will always benefit everyone for good. Love always blesses people because love is selfless. This is the true characteristics of a believer in Christ Jesus. This is what Christ reflected during His life here on earth. Jesus reflected the Father to us and revealed the Father's heart to us. Everything the Father did for mankind is filled with unconditional love. When self-interest is involved or is present when we do something, it can eventually grow to something that can blind us from the truth. On the other hand, selflessness always produces the fire we need to walk in the ways of God. A selfless heart will always elevate others and promote others to be better and stronger. The Bible says not to lean on our own understanding but on God's wisdom and knowledge. Conceit is exactly that, leaning on our own understanding instead of God. We can fool ourselves by our own opinion which blinds the truth of the true knowledge and wisdom from God. Humility will promote growth and maturity in the Spirit. It will cause one to think like God and see through God's eyes. Thus enabling every believer to grow from glory to glory. Gratefulness and humility is the key to speedy growth in the Lord.
