“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord." Jeremiah 17:7 NKJV

In the midst of a sinful generation, God's word was spoken to those who keep their trust in the Lord. Anyone who trusts in the Lord despite all the temptations that come their way, the logic of man's explanation, the peer pressures and the fear of man is called blessed. God describes the person who trusts and hope in Him is like a tree planted by the waters. Water is the most important ingredient for plants to grow. It speaks of life. Just like every tree that is near the water or river is not going to dry up and we can be assured that those trees are not going to be lack of water. So is the person who trusts in the Lord and has their hope anchored in Christ is like that tree - so privileged, don't have to search hard for water as the water flows to the tree. This is what Christ has done for us. He died for us so that the living water continues to flow through every season of our life. The water Christ has given is activated by faith. When we believe it, it flows. Faith to believe in the midst of a drought. We have a supernatural source of living water constantly flowing. The Bible talks about that tree growing its roots deep down and spreads to every area to tap into the water that is flowing. Building ourselves in Christ and in every spiritual gift is like spreading our roots in the kingdom of God, anchoring ourselves in the resources of God's glory and power. This kingdom we have received cannot be shaken by the seasons of life. This new life in Christ is given so that we can live above the circumstances we face. Let our trust in God be without wavering and our hope be anchored in Christ Jesus our Lord. Blessings Ambrose Francis
