“Now I say this, that each of you says, “I am of Paul,” or “I am of Apollos,” or “I am of Cephas,” or “I am of Christ.””

When mankind wants to be in control and wants to be notified and approved by others, the danger of division is present.

In the early church, division among the leaders was present and Paul had to address these issues in the church.

Today, we have a different level of control; wanting to be noticed and affirmed by people in the church.

All this is spelt division and not unity. Paul brings everyone to the knowledge that Christ is not divided.

Therefore, we all should work as His body. Though we function under different denominations, organisations or personal ministries, we are all serving the same Lord Jesus Christ.

We should put our differences aside and just love Jesus, love one another and follow Him.

Every position of authority God has placed us is not to control, manipulate or subdue people but to empower people to go and achieve greater things for God.

When we stumble others, we are stumbling ourselves. When we encourage others, we are being encouraged ourselves.

Every seed we sow to others, we are sowing into our own harvest.

Therefore, let us all stand together against division and bring down every plot of the enemy.

Let the world see a united body that displays His love, peace and grace.

Together we can stand united in His love and spread the gospel of His kingdom.
