Genesis 3:1 NKJV
Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” Genesis 3:1 NKJV
The enemy, satan, is cunning and he causes Eve to doubt about what God had spoken to them. It is important for us to understand that the moment we start to question God's word, we are in danger of disobeying Him. We must not try to justify why the word of God has no effect over our lives. We need to constantly surrender our will to His. We must not engage ourselves with conversations with the enemy or anyone who wants to be satan's agent. When we allow doubt to come in against God's word, it causes us to devalue God's word and that makes us to devalue God and His word. What God has approved, we must not disapprove. When God has anointed us, we must accept it and when God says go, we need to keep going until the end. We must be aware and know what kind of prayer we are praying. Are our prayers contradicting to our identity in Christ? If yes, then we need to change the way we pray so that we can be confident in the word of God. It's time to identify every trick satan brings and conquer them step by step in the truth of God's Word. Jesus counters every word that satan throws at Him with the truth. It is not about personal benefits, but it's about blessings for everyone. Let us be confident in Christ and trust His word. Blessings Ps Ambrose Francis
