Colossians 1:11 NKJV

strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; Colossians 1:11 NKJV

Paul encouraged and commended the Colossians for their faith in Christ. The Colossian believers were growing strong in the Gospel of Christ. Paul was speaking of all the things that the Colossian believers were doing. They were building and standing without wavering in the truth of God's word. The Colossians have got into them the lifestyle of living in the Spirit - the supernatural life in God. They judge and do everything at this point in their journey as a born again child of the living God. This is what we as believers need to grow into. To strengthen with all might in the glorious power of Christ. Growing in the power of Christ is a process. We start by renewing our mind as who we are in Christ. Not who we are in the flesh. This is important because if we measure anything from the flesh, we miss God's ways and His plans. But if we measure everything through His Spirit and His word, we are going to enjoy the supernatural blessings. All this takes time, it takes effort of practicing and consistently doing according to our identity in Christ as a spirit being. We talk like the world and say we are only human then we will be like the world. We are not just human. We are born again to partake the divine nature of God. We become children of God. We are a powerful creation in Christ to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think. This is the joy we need to celebrate every day that we get a chance to live in the glorious power of Christ. That the blind can see, the lame is going to walk, the deaf is going to hear and the captives are going to be set free the moment we choose to walk in Him. This is the day, now is the time and let us build in this glorious power that Jesus placed in each one of us. Let us rise in His glorious power and do what He has called us to do.
