Habakkuk 3:18 AMP
Yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the Lord ; I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation! Habakkuk 3:18 AMP
Prophet Habakkuk prayed a prayer and intentionally made a choice to remain in the strength, power and victory of the Lord. As a prophet of the old covenant, he knew that no matter what takes place in our lives, the choice is still ours to make. How much more should we make the choice to remain in God and in the abundance of His grace and love. We are all believers who live in the new covenant, where heaven has come down to earth, the separation between God and man is removed and are blessed to be the dwelling place of God. We should have more confidence to choose to trust in God. Every spiritual blessing has been made available, every solution can be found in Christ and every victory is ours but it all rests in the choice that we would make. Just like the vast knowledge that is available at our fingertips with the advance technology, the one who says I don't know is the one who refuses to learn, or lazy to explore or have no resource to tap into it. God has made everything possible for those who would believe. But if we refuse to learn, lazy or don't have Jesus in our lives, we will miss out on the blessing that God had prepared for us. We as believers have no excuses but to make the right choices in life. We need to be trustees of true riches in Christ, by making the right choices in Christ. In every hardship, in every conflict and in every situation, the choice will be at the center, waiting for us to make the right decision. Let us choose to trust in the One who never fails, always faithful and true, the One who made the universe. Blessings Ps Ambrose Francis
