It is important for us to know that envy and the religious spirit is an enemy of the truth, the truth that is led by the Holy Spirit.

Pilate, who is a non-believer knows what is right and wrong far better than the religious people who taught the religion. They are consumed by envy and lose sight of the truth.

When we move from living in the truth to being religious, we will get caught up and be influenced by the religious spirit.

A religious spirit is a demonic spirit that influences people groups or individuals who believe in their religious ceremonies rather than having a personal relationship with God.

It is important to understand religious people think that they are doing the right thing even though everyone else can see that it is absolutely wrong.

God wants us to live in the truth, speak the truth and teach the truth. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. What Jesus laid for us as a foundation is the truth, the way and the life.

Pilate may not understand scriptures but he understood Jesus is innocent and did not want to be part of the religious people who wanted Jesus to be crucified.

God will use and turn everything to His divine purpose. What the enemy intended for evil became the greatest point of change to the entire human race.

Let us focus on our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit and our Heavenly Father.
