‭‭II ‬ ‭Kings 6‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”

When the king of Syria was making war against Israel, every plan of the Syrian king was known through the prophet Elisha.

When the Syrian king came to know about it, he sent an ambush at night to take Elisha.

Elisha was surrounded by the great army that night, and when Elisha’s servant woke up, he saw the army had surrounded them.

The servant told Elisha, we are surrounded by the army, but Elisha said don’t be afraid, for there are MORE WITH US.

The servant only said what was in the natural but Elisha saw the supernatural.

Elisha prayed that his servant would see the supernatural kingdom of God and God’s army.

The servant saw the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

There is a kingdom that is far greater than any power or kingdom of this world.

That is the kingdom of God. It is invisible to the natural eyes but it is the kingdom of God that made this world and everything in it.

If Elisha had so much confidence in the kingdom of God and in God’s power. How much more should we who not only have the kingdom of God within us but also the King of kings living in us.

There is another realm that is far superior than this world. We who believe in Jesus live in that kingdom.

We must not fear of the terror that comes by night nor by day but be strengthened in the inner man knowing that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.

Let us live conscious of the kingdom of God, His power and live in His glory.
