Acts‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬

“And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, “By what power or by what name have you done this?””

‭‭Acts‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬

Peter and John were arrested and called in to be questioned on a good deed that took place in the lives of people.

People who function only by the principles and system of this world will misunderstand, misjudge, question and even punish those who are doing good.

Instead of rejoicing over the good that had happened, they want to hold on to what gave them power which is the law.

The religious system goes against the goodness of God. The religious spirit will not extend mercy to a repentant sinner.

Many leaders were disheartened and discouraged by the things that had happened. Therefore, we must be vigilant and ready to keep doing what Jesus has taught us to do.

Religious people will ask questions about who appointed us to share Jesus or to lead someone to Christ and heal sick people in His Name.

We must not let the fear come in nor give room for the religious spirit to stop us from doing what God has called all believers to do.

Let us keep doing what Christ did and continue to uphold each other to follow Christ and carry out His works.

Blessings
