James 2:12 NKJV
“So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty.”
James 2:12 NKJV
James revealed the difference between living in the law of liberty versus the law that condemns.
He is showing an example that if we show partiality to people based of their wealth, we are living by the law that condemns.
By judging others based on the works of man, we have become followers of the law. Therefore, we are subject to keeping all the law.
But if we love one another and show no partiality, we are living by the law of liberty. Therefore, we are subject to the grace of God.
With this in mind, James encouraged all believers to live as one who is under grace, flowing with the love of God.
Do to each other as how Christ has done towards us.
Don’t repay what man has done to us but repay them with the goodness of God.
Make a choice to live by the law of liberty, treat each other with the same grace and serve without partiality.
Jesus has taken all judgment upon Himself and pronounced that all who believe in Him are justified.
Let us therefore love, care and respect each other with the same measure we all have received from Christ.
