Psalms 139:7 NKJV
Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?
Psalms 139:7 NKJV
David acknowledged that there is no way he can escape from God who is all knowing, and being at every place. David did mention about this vastness of knowledge is too great to fully understand.
David amazingly experienced God's presence. Though David lived in the old covenant, David talks to God and God talks to Him. This is because of God's unconditional love and longing to be with His children.
How much more should this be true for us as new covenant believers where God chose to dwell in us through His Spirit.
As believers, we may feel alone, we may feel not supported, not welcomed, not heard and we may feel rejected. This is because we go by our feelings.
Our feelings come about when we cultivate our minds and hearts about something. What we put our attention to is what we are going to feel about.
We may confess some scriptures with our mouth and with our mind but if our focus is from fear and not faith, we will produce a feeling that is of fear.
We need to go and live by faith in God who is faithful, loving and longing to be with His children.
God is God and there is no such thing that He is not there. This is no longer a question of is God here. It is a question about whether we let God in and do as He says.
Let us embrace this truth about our God who loves us and never leaves us. He graced us with Himself so that we will always have the choice to dwell in Him as He dwells in us.
Blessings
