Mark 4:8 NKJV

But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”

Mark 4:8 NKJV

Jesus is teaching about the parable of the sower. In this passage, God is the sower and His word is the seed.

We know that a good seed on good ground produces good fruits. The word of God is the perfect seed and the sower is God who is the best of the best.

The only thing that is left is the ground. We are the ground where God's word is being planted.

Our minds and our hearts play a critical role in nurturing these seeds. If we use our hearts and minds to protect, water and shelter God's word, it will grow and will produce at least thirtyfold to start with.

If our ground is not producing good fruits, it could only be one issue. The issue is not the sower nor the seed. It is the ground.

So we have to stop praying prayers like come on God, do something, give me more seeds, Lord or increase my harvest, Lord.

What we need to do is to look at our life and start removing those doubts, those words we speak that are like poison to the seed, unforgiveness that kills every life that is in us and so on.

It is time to remove stuff from the ground that is unhealthy by the power of the Holy Spirit.

If we can keep the ground healthy with the grace of God, then we will see a great harvest in all areas of our lives.

Blessings
