Mark 9:50 NKJV

Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.”

Mark 9:50 NKJV

Jesus has made us to be the salt of the earth. Jesus has deposited in each one of us His power and authority to bring out the best in each other.

Salt has the power to preserve, to add flavour when there is no flavour. This is what God has designed each one of us to be.

As new covenant believers, we are to add flavour and preserve lives by the power of Christ.

This ability from God comes with responsibility. The responsibility is to just use it as part of our lifestyle.

Find opportunities and avenues to be the salt, making people's lives better, saving souls and touching lives with the gospel.

If we don't use it and take responsibility to display the abilities, power and authority to restore lives, then we would have lost its capabilities.

Salt will always be salt and it does nothing but taste salty on its own. The effectiveness of salt takes place only when it is added to something.

God did not design an isolation lifestyle for us as believers but a community, a family that we can season each other with the grace and love of God.

Let us look for opportunities and open doors to be the salt of the earth as Christ has made us to be.

Blessings
