Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

When Moses finished building the temple, the glory of the Lord filled the temple but no one is free to enter in, not even Moses.

This is because the people of God have not be redeemed from sin, and sin will cause the people to die if they come close to the dwelling place of God.

Therefore, the people came from the outside and work their way in through the blood of an animal that is sacrificed on their behalf.

This was the system that was established for the people to come to God and to be at peace with God temporarily. It is not a permanent solution to be with God in His presence.

Jesus Christ came to earth to be the last sacrifice for the entire world so that mankind can dwell with God here on earth.

1 Corinthians 3:16 tells us that now God through His Spirit dwells in us through Christ Jesus our Lord. We become a dwelling place of God here on earth.

People in the past, before Christ, worked their way to God from the outside in but in Christ Jesus, we are in God and we work our way to shine for His kingdom from inside out.

Now we are in His glory and in His power. We minister, we speak and we do everything in and through His image and likeness.

We are not an outsider anymore. We are blood-bought children of the living God who have access to the throne room of our Father in heaven. We can bow before Him in the spirit face to face and worship Him.

We don't come from outside anymore but dwell with Him from now till eternity.
