“I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”

Jesus taught the people that all need to do is repent no matter how good or bad they are.

The bottom line is all have fallen short of God’s glory and heading for eternal death.

To repent is not to be punished but to be saved by the grace that God offers through Jesus Christ.

Religious people with a religious spirit will find fault, categorise sin and create punishment for it.

But Jesus Christ took whatever mistakes we have done, paid the penalty for all our sins and Jesus gave us all new life to live as a gift.

Jesus spoke a parable about a tree that did not bear fruit and was ready to be cut off and uprooted. But the gardener wanted to give it another chance and work on it till it bore fruit.

This speaks of the extra time that was given for people to receive the grace of God.

This is the grace that God prepared before the foundation of the earth for all mankind to believe and receive

Jesus did not come to punish but to save the world. He came so that we can have the opportunity to receive His grace.

Let us therefore turn to Him who is full of mercy and love.
