II Corinthians 4:9 NKJV
“persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—”
II Corinthians 4:9 NKJV
When challenges come and persecution tries to destroy us, we can stand strong in the Lord.
Paul said that even though we are being persecuted, the end result is we will not be forsaken.
Because in Christ Jesus we will always be accepted as His beloved.
Even when the enemy manage to strike us down but in the end we will not be destroyed because no weapon that is formed against us shall prosper.
All this is possible if we take to heart what Paul said in verse 7.
Paul said we have this treasure in earthen vessels. That this power that is at work within is not ours but it is of God.
Therefore, if God is for us, who can be against us? If we live under the power, might and protection of God, then we will come out victorious.
It’s about putting all of our trust and hope in God's power and strength.
We don’t have to pray to get this power, we don’t need to seek God for His protection for Paul says we HAVE them in us.
We need to start to thank God for it. Because by thanking Him for it is an act of faith, believing what is in us.
Let us consider the power, might, blessings and love of God that is within us above everything else.
Blessings
