‭‭Mark‬ ‭4‬:‭39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.”

‭‭Mark‬ ‭4‬:‭39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus was asleep while the storm hit them very hard and they began to do things naturally, to take out water from the boat.

The truth is we cannot fight the enemy on their turf with natural means.

The disciples tried their best to do it just like everyone else, from their experience as fishermen.

They realised this is beyond their ability to survive so they woke Jesus up to the storm.

Jesus woke up and rebuked the storm to be still and the raging wind was immediately stopped.

The sea became instantly calm. This is something not a man can do in the natural but Jesus is showing His disciples His word changes everything.

Jesus is the word that was manifested to us. As He is, so are we in this world.

Jesus wants us to speak to our own storms to stop. Jesus wants us to take the authority He has given and use it to stop every plan of the enemy and speak the plan of God into its place.

It is the same power that raised Jesus is now in us and His word in our mouth speaking His kingdom come and His will be done.

Don’t let the storms of the past dictate our future and alter the things God has spoken.

But change the landscape of our lives by speaking the word of the living God.

We call those things that are not to be by speaking the power which is in God’s word.

Let’s rise up in God and speak to our storms of life to stop and call forth the things that God has spoken.
