II Corinthians 1:9 NKJV
Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead,
II Corinthians 1:9 NKJV
Paul encouraged all believers to walk in faith, focus on God, lean not on their own understanding and press through hardships in life.
He encouraged us that there is nothing impossible for those who believe because he himself had gone through hard times yet coming out victorious.
This verse shows us that Paul went through storms in life that threaten to end his ministry, his mission and also his life.
When all of his efforts did not make any difference and when all hope is gone, he held on to God who is able to raise the dead.
Paul had survived whatever storms that wanted to end his life when he wrote this letter.
This encourages us to keep trusting God above every storm that comes our way. We serve a God who is able to bring the dead to life.
We can trust and put our confidence in Christ who never fails. Through Him and in Him we can live our life without fear.
Our God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is the God who delivers people from the dead-end situations yesterday and today He is the same who will surely deliver us from it today and forever.
When we face challenges that seem like the end, don't allow fear to grip our hearts but let faith rise from within and rise in the resurrection power of Christ.
Let us keep trusting in God, looking unto Him who is the author of life for He is faithful to all who trust in His promises.
Blessings
