‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭48‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly.”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭48‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Paul explained to the believers that as fallen men, we were subject to natural things and under its influence.

The same goes for a man who is born again, which is of God’s Spirit, is subject to supernatural things and functions under God’s influence.

It is a clear contrast between the two and never meant to be mixed. It is a clear cut between the two. Therefore, we have to choose one that is choose to live in the spirit.

The starting point of living in the spirit is acknowledging that we are not a natural being but a spiritual being.

It is just like God breathed into man, who was made out of dust, and man became a living being.

The dust has no value, it is just a container to hold the precious life.

We need to pay attention to our spiritual nature which Jesus has displayed to us what our spiritual nature looked like.

We are redeemed to live life in the spirit and in the power of Christ's resurrection.

As men of the dust, we all agree that we are not perfect. We don’t argue about the state of dust and all it represents.

We should do the same as men of the spirit. We should not argue about our spiritual state in Christ and all that has been represented.

God put us in this body to function in this world. As a spirit being we need to be steadfast to walk according to our spiritual identity.

We are a heavenly being, made to live a supernatural life. Let us take up our spiritual image in Christ and live as children of God.

Blessings
