Isaiah 5:20 NKJV
“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20 NKJV
Isaiah warned people of those who twist and call good evil and evil good.
This was the plan of the enemy since the beginning to turn our hearts and mind from God who is good to himself who is evil.
This plan of satan has creeped into the church. Twisting what we have received from Christ as if we have not and spin the church to try to get it.
Jesus has finished His mission on the cross.
Whatever mankind needed in life to be free from sin, sickness, bondage and death is paid in FULL.
Jesus did not need to come down again to work for us as some still pray for Jesus to do it.
As a church, we ourselves in many ways have called what is given as not given.
Sometimes believers live life as if Christ has done nothing. Our prayer meeting is like a begging session for God to do it when He has already done it.
God’s promises does not come to pass because believers are twisted in their knowledge, waiting for God to do it while the power was given for us as believers to do it.
Therefore, the enemy engages the church begging God so that the church will not live out the power of God that is within us.
We were slaves once but now we are sons, we were under the influence of satan once but now under the power of God.
We are the royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people set apart to declare His glory and power.
Let us rise up in the truth, rise up in Christ and believe in the finished work of Christ.
Blessings
