Colossians‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And say to Archippus, “Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.” ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Paul is encouraging the young generation to stay focused on the Lord - to remember and take heed of the call of God over their lives. This is an important advice and message that Paul sent to Archippus because in life we will face many challenges and go through many phases of events. It’s easy to be derailed by events or circumstances which will challenge the call of God in our lives. Paul said to Archippus to fulfil the ministry that he had received from the Lord. This shows that each one of us is responsible to fulfil the call of God. It’s a partnership with God, a vessel on earth moving with the rhythm of heaven. Moving in the Holy Spirit. All we need is to take heed to the call of God, to follow His voice and to be led by His Spirit. We are called by God. We have all been appointed to declare the glory of God in every place and every situation. The encouragements and advice Paul had for Archippus are for every one of us. We need to take heed what we have received from the Lord. His grace, His mercy, the new covenant and a foundation that is built upon Jesus Christ. We need to keep focused and strong until the end. We need to keep pressing till the end and hold on to the commandment given to us by Jesus. Let us hold fast and do all that God has spoken to us, knowing that in Christ we are the answer to the world. Blessings
