Acts 8:5 NKJV

Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them.

Acts 8:5 NKJV

There was a great conversion in Samaria and many saw signs and wonders through Philip. It was a great harvest and great transformation that took place in the city of Samaria.

Philip's move to Samaria came about because there was great persecution in Jerusalem against believers in Christ.

Saul was causing havoc and pulling believers out of their homes and into the prison. Stephen was stoned to death for the sake of the kingdom of God.

Out of this mess unfolds the beautiful, glorious plan and purpose of God, not only to Philip but to all around Him.

Phillip pursued God and not his own wants and needs.

The moment he reached Samaria, he preached the gospel of Christ to all around him.

We may be going through some hard struggle in life at the moment but as we keep to the vision and mission that God has given to each one of us, we will see the glory of God unfold.

God will work all things together for good to those who love Him, keep HIM first and diligently seek Him.

Apart from God, there is absolutely nothing worthwhile.

God can turn our mess around if we keep Him first in our life.

If we are in a financial mess, make Him first in our finances.

If we are in a mess concerning a relationship, make Him first with regards to that relationship.

If we continue to make God first in every aspect of our lives then we see the glory of God revealed in every situation in our lives.

Let us not be worried by the mess around us but be focused on Christ.

Let us consciously put Him first and allow God to display His glory through us.

Blessings
