“Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;”
Deuteronomy 7:9 NKJV
This is the message to the people of God who conquered the land.
God spoke to the people to keep themselves away from things, relationships, and ideologies of the world so that all that is of God would not be corrupted.
God instructed them not to indulge themselves with evil or its fruit but to continue obeying the Lord God Almighty and follow Him.
God’s word showed us that the majority of the people who entered the promised land entered not because they were smart or strong.
They entered the land because they believed God. They believe that God loved them and God is faithful to His promises.
Our God is a covenant-keeping God. He gave a covenant in the Old Testament and He kept it.
God established a covenant through Christ in the New Testament and God has established it for us to live in it.
People can be easily swayed around by emotions, situations, and circumstances. They make decisions based on what is happening at that time.
But for sure God does not change. His covenant.
He is faithful to what He has said and will bring it to pass.
If we continue to remain in the covenant that God has made through Jesus Christ, then we can surely see all of it come to pass.
Let us look into the perfect law of liberty in Christ Jesus, abide in Him, and live in Him.
