“Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”

After the fall of man, mankind grew in sin and opened unintended doors to corrupt the image of God continually.

It was so bad that God would want to wipe out His creation whom He loved dearly. For mankind had decided with their own free will to completely reject God and His protection.

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. This is such a powerful truth that in the midst of the most evil and perverse generation whose minds intended evil continuously, Noah found grace.

Noah found that God is good and His love endures forever. Noah opened himself to receive God’s counsel and protection.

If Noah is blessed after finding grace in the most darkest hour of human history, how much more blessed are we who have been found by the grace of God.

There is no evil generation that can take us by surprise, there are no perverse ideologies that can cut us from the love of Jesus and His grace towards all who call on His Name.

A privilege beyond comprehension, beyond any arguments or debates. It is simply the grace of God.

This grace defeats sin and its power.

This grace empowers us to live a holy life.

This grace raises us up in Christ-likeness.

By that same grace, we have been presented by Jesus as holy and pure before our heavenly Father.

Like Noah, we need to lift our eyes not to the evil that was happening, but to the Lord who is far more powerful than the powers of the earth.

Let us not be bogged down by what satan is doing in the world but be captivated by our living God and follow Him every day.
