“For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness.”

When God corrects His children, His intention is to prevent us from danger and eternal destruction.

Therefore, God directs our path by revealing to us through His word, His Spirit, and through people God placed to help us in our journey.

The path that God is leading is good, full of His goodness and blessings.

In that path the pruning is done so that we become more fruitful and become more productive in every area of our lives.

The chastening that God brings only produces good things and not destruction to the body, mind, and spirit.

God’s chastening keeps us from harm, and evil and from getting caught in satan’s plot.

We must be careful not to believe that everything that happens is God’s chastening.

There are things our adversary satan tries to kill, steal, and destroy.

Every chastening of God will lead us to live the life God has prepared, a life reflecting God’s holiness.

Every family has different ways of bringing correction to their children.

Some are light, some are harsh and hard, and some have both light, gentle, and hard punishments.

But our Heavenly Father is perfect and there is not even a shadow of darkness in Him.

His ways are higher than ours. We must not measure God’s corrections according to human standards but be open to His leading.

Embrace the changes He wants us to adopt.

When God brings corrections and changes to our lives, it means we have graduated from one area and moving on to the next.

Let us embrace every correction that our Heavenly Father brings and let every part of us radiate His glory.
