‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭James‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV

“Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.”

‭‭James‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV

James taught us to have control over our tongue and direct it to produce life and not death.

Our words are so powerful. It shapes our thoughts and the intents of our hearts.

It can paint a picture that is not to be so. If we keep calling someone no use, that person will see themselves as someone who is of no use.

This is the reason that we need to train our tongues to speak God’s word.

If we speak life and then after some time we start to speak death to the same situation, we can't expect to see godly results.

If we are planting good seeds and then go back to pluck it out, we are not going to have a harvest.

We have to learn to cultivate God’s word to come forth out of our mouths.

We need to restrain ourselves from speaking about death or negative things over our lives or over others.

Our tongue is a powerful sword in our lives. We can cut off the things of the enemy by our words and we can establish God’s kingdom by speaking it into being.

Let us continue to bless the Lord with all of our hearts and speak life into every situation.

Blessings
