Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

‬‬“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The Lord is the shepherd of our lives. He will shepherd us through every storm that comes our way.

We have to remember that in the valleys, all that we see is a shadow. Shadows disappear the moment we stand right under the light.

Those shadows are not permanent residents but something that have to pass when we remain in God who is the light of our lives.

God wants us to have full confidence in Him so that we will not allow fear to come in. There will be a lot of shadows that the enemy wants us to see. But we must remain focused on God and His promises.

Your rod and staff, when a person comes to a certain age, they will have a rod or staff that speaks of their life encounters.

When they have a God encounter they will write it or mark it on their rod. When they face some challenges in life they take comfort by looking at their rod and their staff.

We need to remember how God delivered us from the valleys of life and if God delivered us before, He will deliver us again.

For Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is a faithful God who keeps His promises.

We take comfort by remembering His faithfulness, His mercy, grace and favour over us.

Let us put our trust and confidence in Jesus, the Shepherd of our lives.

Blessings
