Deuteronomy‬ ‭7:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.”

In the old covenant, God promised His people that He will be their God and they will be His people.

His promise speaks that we are His children and He is our Father. But these promises only become permanently established through Christ our Lord.

Now in Christ, we are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, and a holy nation. We are His children, blessed with His inheritance.

These blessings that we have received through Christ are for us to be a blessing to all, to be the salt and light, to be the grace of God to one another, and to let His love flow through us.

We need to be confident in Him as His children and confident in the authority and power that He has bestowed upon us.

We don’t pray to be holy, anointed, or to be set apart. That is already accomplished for us in Christ by Jesus on the cross.

We give thanks for He has made us holy, He has anointed us and He has set us apart for His kingdom.

All we have to do is train our minds, hearts, and our lifestyle according to what we have become in Christ Jesus.

We can start by meditating on His word, looking unto Jesus, the Author of life, and speaking who we are in Him.

Let us rise up to our identity in Christ and live life in the power, love, and glory of His Name.
