Isaiah‬ ‭42:9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Behold, the former things have come to pass, And new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them.”

Many things have passed away naturally, physically and mentally. Therefore, we are forced to live in the new which has replaced the old.

Yet we can't move into the new until we make a decision to step into it.

The new is where our spiritual identity is, which is in Christ. The ultimate place for a person to be new is in Christ.

For only in Christ we can have a clean and fresh new beginning. So that if we look back, we will not have any record of the past.

The day we received Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, His blood has removed all our sins as far as the east is from the west.

This new thing has been revealed through Jesus Christ our Lord. If anyone chooses to be in Him, they are a new creation.

As a new creation, let us learn of the new ways, systems, values, and principles.

We cannot apply the old ways, old systems, old values and old principles in the new life as they are led by their own master.

Now we are in the kingdom of God and our King Jesus has set the Way, the Truth and Life in this new life.

It is important that we don’t get entangled in the old kingdom and its ways or try to implement old ways in the new. This is what kept the Israelites out of the promised land.

God wants us to build ourselves with all that He has given to us in His kingdom so that we can enjoy and live in harmony with His identity.
